Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver position for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for groups of 8–13 students, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents living with the same student group. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 per couple with benefits and housing), relocation assistance available, and paid training. Requires two-year marriage minimum, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs., and a strong commitment to student development on a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role requires both spouses to complete individual applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (or ability to become certified to drive student home vans)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
