Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples (Full-time Flex Houseparents) at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students, including supervision, routine management, medications, transportation to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with same students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Salary scaffolding is $46,917 per person (approx. $180k total compensation per couple with housing/benefits). Benefits include health insurance, retirement options, PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
