Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Milton Hershey School student homes, supervising and guiding a group of students (approx. 813) to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a flexible nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role with the same student home. The position offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; housing, meals on duty, and utilities are included. Minimum qualifications include experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; applicants must be a legally married two-person team with both spouses age 27 or older.
