Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel services, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially duties cover multiple student homes with a nine-on/three-off cycle, with eventual placement into a steady houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; comprehensive benefits are available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married commitment for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
