Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes and supervise/mentor a group of ~8–13 students. Couples provide care, guidance, supervision, and activities, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household routines and reporting. Work schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications
