Job Summary
Two-person, live-in on-campus Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule features nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student-home assignment. Requires high school diploma or GED, two-year married commitment, age 27+, valid driver’s license with ability to obtain van-certification, and experience with youth.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
