Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples living on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring youth, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, coordinating transportation and activities for a group of 8–13 students, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule to living with the same student group. The position requires on-campus residence, relocation to Hershey, PA, and a two-person married couple to fill the role, with both spouses 27+ years old. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
