Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a campus-based student home. Couples reside with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household budgeting and reporting, and rotating a nine-day on, three-day off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Includes benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training; high school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; capacity to lift up to 50 lbs; commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and alcohol-free on duty; two-person married couple eligibility with both spouses applying.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse job requirement (two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
