Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving and organizing activities, leading daily devotions and chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. This is a two-person, full-time role living on-campus for a group of approximately 8–13 students, with relocation to Hershey, PA and a benefits package including health, retirement, and paid training. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and complete separate applications; the role emphasizes a family-like environment, student development, and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
