Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver (two-person, married-couple) for on-campus homes at Milton Hershey School. Jointly reside in a student home and supervise ~8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, and structured routines. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparents with a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for couples
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
