Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 813 students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and supporting student development and well-being. Initially working nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a stable student-home assignment. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits, including housing, meals on duty, health insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
