Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples (Full-time Flex Houseparents) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and organize activities, devotions, and budgeting for a group of students. Initial nine-on, three-off schedule transitioning to a stable home with the same student group. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, and a comprehensive benefits package with relocation assistance. Requires a High School diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth; both spouses must be at least 27 years old and legally married for two+ years, with separate employment applications required for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited in chapel services
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations (fish and one dog)
- Capacity to supervise, mentor, and lead devotions
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
