Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, administering medications, coordinating daily routines and student schedules, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. The role progresses from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent with the same student group, living in a student home. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
