Job Summary
Two-person on-campus role as Flex Houseparents: a residential care position where married couples reside with a group of 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, guidance, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent assignment living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse two-person role must be married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Committment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited
- Experience with youth
- Background checks as part of consideration
