Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Nelson, PA, residing on campus to supervise and guide a group of approximately 8–13 students, including administering medications, coordinating routines, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role, providing a structured, family-like environment that supports students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA on-campus housing
