Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, development and recreational planning, and leading daily devotions and Chapel services. The position follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule during the initial phase, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with salary per person listed, comprehensive benefits, and on-site housing included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married (two-person role)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to drive student vans
- Commitment to campus guidelines on smoking/weapons/alcohol
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Chapel services
- Comfort with Judeo-Christian services
- Experience with youth (volunteering or working)
- No more than three dependent children in home
