Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married two-person team (Full-time Flex Houseparents) who reside on-campus and provide care, supervision, and guidance to groups of students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing household schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a flex houseparent assignment to a placed houseparent role. Requires a high school diploma or GED, U.S. driver\'s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-spouse, legally married partnership for at least two years; both spouses must be 27 or older. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided. On-campus housing is included; work schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver\'s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Prolonged on-campus residence in a student home environment
- Desire to live and work as a two-person team as on-site houseparents
- Proved integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
