Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students; duties include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgeting and reporting; the role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married-for-at-least-two-years requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role is two-person and lives with students
- Desire to live and work in a campus residential setting with children
- Willingness to follow campus rules: smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol while on duty
- Commitment to religious activities (daily devotions and Sunday Chapel) and Judeo-Christian services
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA for the role
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
- Proselytizing prohibition within campus religious activities
