Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparent role responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The position transitions from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement with ongoing responsibility for the same student group, requiring a high level of commitment, integrity, and teamwork between spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services (Judeo-Christian)
- Proximity to on-campus housing (on-campus role)
