Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver duties: two-person flex houseparent role residing in an on-campus student home to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule and eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a two-spouse married pair, full-time commitment, relocation to Hershey, PA, and benefits including relocation assistance and comprehensive coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Spouses at least 27 years old
- No more than three dependent children in home
