Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver for married couples to live on campus in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and overseeing household operations. After initial placement in multiple student homes, couples transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license with potential van certification, 27+ years old for both spouses, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation assistance provided and comprehensive benefits. To be considered, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses, legally married for at least two years, both aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to live on campus in on-site student homes and supervise 8–13 students
- Willingness to follow campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol while on duty)
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Budgeting and household reporting responsibilities
- Ability to drive students to activities
- On-campus residence as part of Placed Houseparent transition
- Full-time, 9 days on / 3 days off schedule
- Relocation to Hershey, PA

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
