Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; two-person spouse pair must apply separately. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement, and PTO; salary of $46,917 per person (approx. $180k total per couple) including housing and meals. The role emphasizes mentorship, discipline, devotions, and faith-based activities within a residential school setting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
