Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in on-campus homes, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. The role requires a two-person, married couple living on-site, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule initially, providing structure, safety, and support to students in a family-like setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse consent for dual applications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
