Job Summary
Two-person, full-time on-campus role as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of 8–13 students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. They follow a nine-consecutive-days-on, three-days-off schedule and will transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided; comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for this two-person role
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Willingness to participate in training and relocation to Hershey, PA area
