Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver — two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents living in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) at Milton Hershey School. Couples provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance; manage household routines and student schedules; administer medications; drive students to activities; plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions; accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting. Work schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a two-person role for legally married couples, with both spouses completing individual applications; relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications

- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
