Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Initially a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with total compensation for the couple around $180,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
