Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person married couple will reside on-campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental/recreational activities, and oversee daily routines and budgets. The role progresses from initial placement in multiple student homes to a permanent placed houseparent assignment. Responsibilities include supervising students, coordinating schedules, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and providing a structured, family-like environment focused on students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and other benefits; the position requires living on-site and adherence to campus rules. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for legally married couples (married for at least two years)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (relocation assistance provided)
