Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience with youth preferred
- On-campus housing provided as part of role
- Two-person role for couples
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
