Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples (two-person Flex Houseparents) resides in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initially serving multiple student homes on a 9 days on / 3 days off rotation, the role will transition to a steady placement with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided, plus comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to drive student home vans, willingness to lead faith-based activities in a Judeo-Christian context, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. Restrictions include no alcohol on duty and a limit on dependents in the home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Keen ability to supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting
