Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor approximately 8–13 students, provide care, supervise household routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. Requires youth-focused experience, two-year married status, age 27+, OK with campus life, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and compliance with campus conduct (no alcohol on duty; drug-free; kosher/kosher? not specified). Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
