Job Summary
Two-person Full-time on-campus Residential Houseparents (married couple) supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, household routines, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement, paid time off, relocation assistance, paid training, and housing plus meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
