Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living in on-campus student homes with a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-consecutive-days-on duty schedule followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. The position offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; salary is per person, with total compensation reflecting the two-person arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
