Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, routines management, medication administration, transportation to activities, and spiritual participation through daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Couples work in a two-person role, transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same student group. Responsibilities include budgeting, household reporting, planning developmental and recreational activities, and ensuring student wellness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married requirement for employment
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
