Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Residential Youth Caregiver (Flex Houseparents) for Milton Hershey School: married couples live in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, administer medications, drive to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and support developmental activities. Start with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed houseparent with same student group. Includes full benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and eligibility to work on a smoke- and weapon-free campus; both spouses must apply individually and be at least 27 years old.
Required Qualifications

- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
