Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of students in on-campus homes, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. The role requires two legally married spouses (at least two years) to live with and care for approximately 813 students, with a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off, on a campus in Hershey, PA. Benefits include relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and a total compensation around $168,000 per couple. Must be comfortable leading students in Judeo-Christian services and adhering to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol). Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to certify to drive student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
