Job Summary
Two-person, married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The position follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a dedicated Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include a salary per person (approx. $46,917) with total couple compensation around $180,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment application (both spouses)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Two-person married couple (both spouses)
