Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus residential care role for married couple: Full-time Flex Houseparents living in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Saturday/Sunday chapel, and overseeing household routines and budgeting. Starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires both spouses to complete individual applications, be legally married for at least two years, and meet age/health/weight-lift and driver’s license requirements. On-campus housing and meals provided, with opportunities for growth and leadership within the student homes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two years married (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
