Job Summary
Two-person residential caregiver role at Milton Hershey School: married couples live in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support, including daily routines, medications, driving to activities, organizing developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and supervising budgeting and reporting. After an initial nine-on/three-off schedule, couples transition to living and working with the same group of students in their own home; relocation to Hershey, PA is required and benefits include comprehensive coverage and on-site housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-year married couple minimum
- Age 27 or older per spouse
- No more than three dependent children per home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Spouses must both apply individually
