Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver: Full-time two-person flex Houseparent roles in on-campus student homes, providing care, mentorship, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and adapting to a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule. After initial placement, transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proximity to Hershey, PA (relocation provided)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
