Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Milton Hershey School student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading development and devotional activities, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. The role requires a legally married two-person team (both spouses 27+) who will reside together on-campus, with relocation assistance provided. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and housing/utilities included. Salary is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals). Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouses minimum two years married
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to be certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
