Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver for a two-person, married couple living on-campus in Milton Hershey School student homes. Couples provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading devotions and chapel services, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary per person is $46,917 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
