Job Summary
Residential Summer Youth Caregiver role supporting two married spouses living in on-campus student homes, supervising groups of 8–13 students, and providing mentorship, medications administration, transportation to activities, and development of student wellness. Responsibilities include managing household routines, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent assignment in the same student home. Requires on-campus living, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to be certified to drive student home vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; two spouses must be legally married for at least two years and both be 27 or older. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits and PTO offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
