Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus housing. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagements. Oversee household budgeting and reporting. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a married couple relationship of at least two years, ages 27 or older, valid driver's license, and certification to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
