Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing on Milton Hershey School campuses to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel visits, oversee household routines and budgeting, and progress to a Placed Houseparent with same student group. This is a two-person, on-campus position with relocation support, benefits, and a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a same-home placement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Prohibited activities: no alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Comfort with budgeting and household reporting
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
