Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver includes a two-person Flex Houseparent role; couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students each) and provide supervision, mentorship, and routine management, including medication administration, driving students to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The position follows a nine-on, three-off schedule during the initial phase, with eventual placement into a steady home with the same student group. Relocation and paid training are provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package and housing implications; applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, be able to drive student vans, and meet age and conduct requirements for a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement (married for at least two years)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
