Job Summary
Milton Hershey School seeks a two-spouse Full-time Flex Houseparent team to reside on campus in Hershey, PA (and with placement in Green Bay, WI as noted) to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role transitions from an initial nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent assignment with a consistent student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided. Qualifications require experience with youth, a legally married two-person couple (both spouses aged 27 or older) eligible to live on campus, no more than three dependent children in the home, a smoke-free and weapon-free campus commitment, valid U.S. driver’s license with driving certification ability for student vans, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications

- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
