Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and reporting. After an initial nine-on, three-off schedule, couples transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Requires relocation, on-campus residency, and a two-year-married couple commitment with both spouses aged 27+, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
