Job Summary
Residential Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. The position offers relocation assistance and full benefits, including housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
