Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples (Full-time Flex Houseparents) to live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA area and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and programming for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, paid time off, and free housing/ meals while on duty. Requires experience with youth, on-campus living environment readiness, and compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, alcohol-free). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
