Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live on-campus as Flex Houseparents, supervising and mentoring groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, household routine management, medication administration, transporting and planning activities for students, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. The position offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and requires both spouses to reside on campus in a two-person role, with full-time, on-site duties in Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Complete individual employment applications by both spouses
